Wordle 2.0

Wordle 2.0 has been submitted to the AppStore today with the following new features:

  • Brand new word list (’tire’ is no longer missing!)
  • Amazing brand new graphics (see the screenshots below)
  • Online high score list (compete against everyone else or just your Facebook friends!)
  • Alternate flipped game layout available (word list above the letters instead of below)
  • Suggest missing or obscure words while playing a game, they will be reviewed and automatically updated within a week
  • Dedicated button to show the in-game menu
  • Prompts to avoid losing progress in an existing game
  • Bug fixes

Wordle 1.0

I’m submitting Wordle 1.0 to the App Store today.

The game is a TextTwist clone for the iPhone. Combine the six letters in the shelf below to make as many words as you can. The goal is to uncover the six letter word. You can advance to the next level once you reveal it.

  • View the definition of any word that you’re not familiar with
